Yes, Total Lash® Mascara is all-in-one Serum + Conditioner + Mascara that is clinically proven to increase lash length, while nourishing, strengthening, and reducing breakage, and offering a buildable high impact look.
What are prostaglandins and why doesn’t Colorescience use them?
Prostaglandins are active lipid compounds that are often used in lash serums to promote growth and enhancement. While they can be effective, they are also known to cause adverse effects, including redness, eye color change, eyelid discoloration and darkening, eye area that appears sunken or hollow, eyelid drooping. Colorescience sought to create a gentle formula that is safe for sensitive eyes, while providing effective lash enhancement both immediately and with continued use. Total Lash™ has been ophthalmologist tested and is safe for use around the eye areas, for sensitive eyes, and for contact lens wearers.
What is a tubing mascara?
Tubing mascaras enhance lash length and volume with specialized polymers that form tubes that wrap around each individual lash. They provide a more even application and lash appearance, strong adherence and long wear, and yet will remove easily and cleanly without harsh rubbing or leaving traces of color on skin after cleansing.
In what shades is Total Lash® available?

Is Total Lash® water resistant?
Total Lash® includes natural wax and polymers that provide strong adhesion of the tubes to lashes to optimize wear and may withstand tears or mild sweating. However, you may wish to consider a waterproof formula for water activities or sports where you may be soaked or submerged in water.
Is Total Lash® safe for sensitive eyes?
Total Lash® has been ophthalmology tested and confirmed to be safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

Do I need multiple layers to get the lash and growth health benefits?
Multiple layers are not required. In our clinical study, subjects were instructed to use 1 coat daily every morning. 90.3% of all subjects experienced longer lashes after using the product after 12 weeks, with some experiencing increased length as early as two weeks.
How should I apply Total Lash®?

Yes, Total Lash® layers well with other products, including other serums and mascaras and may help further enhance results. Total Lash® was tested on bare lashes. Consult your lash expert if you would like to explore applying onto lash extensions.
Can I layer more Total Lash® with other mascaras? If so, which should I use first?
You can layer Total Lash® with other mascaras. Use Total Lash® before other mascaras in order to apply the specialty ingredients directly onto the lashes.
How do I remove Total Lash®?
Total Lash® can be removed with Colorescience Barrier Pro™ 1-Step Cleanser or with your favorite cleanser.
How to remove using Colorescience Barrier Pro™ 1-Step Cleanser:
1. Wet hands. (Leave face dry.)
2. Dispense 2-3 pumps into wet hands
3. Apply to dry face and massage product into skin to remove all makeup, sunscreen, impurities. Add a small amount of warm water to increase emulsification. Mascara tubing will begin to slide off lashes and will be visible in hands or sink.
4. Add warm water to face and hands. Cleanser will begin to bubble. Thoroughly cleanse for at least 1 minute, spending approximately 15 seconds each on forehead, cheeks and nose, chin, and eye area, adding more water if desired. Avoid getting cleanser into the eyes. Rinse thoroughly.
If my lower lashes are already long, should I use a different mascara?
If your lower lashes are already long, Total Lash® can be used to maintain and further increase your lash length, boost overall lash health, and provide immediate enhancement.
How long will one tube last? / How often should I replace my Total Lash®?
One tube of Total Lash® will last about 3 months with once daily use. Like most eye products, once used, it should be replaced after 3 months.
Can pregnant or nursing women use Total Lash®?
There are no ingredients that are contraindicated for use in pregnant/nursing women. However, please consult your physician before starting any new treatment.
Is Total Lash® vegan?
No, Total Lash® is not vegan as it contains beeswax to seal in moisture while providing long wear.
Is Total Lash® oil free?
